The NRNA ICC extends its sincere thanks to all the donors who have contributed generously to save life of a Nepali Female Worker Ms. Dolma Sherpa sentenced to Death in Kuwait. We are glad to inform that sentence of Ms. Sherpa has been turned into life imprisonment. The NRNA decided during the ICC Meeting of 8th Feb 2009 to contribute 3 Lakh for the welfare of the son of Ms. Dolma and the rest amount will be converted to the NRN Emergency Relief Fund. The total amount collected in the NRNA Bank account for this purpose is Rs. 36,69,741.60

You may recall that the NRNA had started the campaign soon after the news of sentence of Ms. Dolma Sherpa by the Kuwaiti courts. The NRNA campaign was spear headed jointly by Mrs. Usha Sharma, NRNA ICC Women Representative and Mr. Tenzi Sherpa, ICC Member from Korea.
